10SNE1 (Tennis anyone?)

Today, Colorado got one point in the Beaches vs Mountains competition.  I went to play tennis in Breck (that's what the natives call Breckinridge).  I thought Colorado could never measure up to Florida in the tennis category.  I was wrong. They had clay courts.  It was drop in mixed doubles.  Everyone played quite well (that means at my level). A 4.0 player wouldn't have liked it but I really liked it.  Did I mention the clay courts, just like St. Paul Tennis.  And they were all very friendly and welcoming.  It seemed like I played better here.  Maybe because the balls bounce higher so you have more time to hit it well.  I was out of breath because of the altitude especially when I served but so were the others.  I think because they are not permanent Colorado residents.  And lots of them (correction:  some of them)  had places both in the mountains and in Florida and Arizona.  Places like Bradenton, Winter Park, and Miami.  Do you think that might be a possibility, to have both?  No, probably not, but one can dream.

  1. Very clever title! It took me awhile but I got it! And loved the photo too. I vote for both plus st. Paul. Why not all three?
